60 Minute Relaxation Massage with Cupping

One hour deep tissue or relaxation Swedish massage. It will be complimented by a cupping treatment. The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure). Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and even cellulite.

Cupping, sometimes called “inverse massage” is defined as a vacuum of negative pressure applied with flexible silicone cups that bring circulation and remodel Myofascial tissue below the skin to generate physical change. The silicone cups are flexible and easy to apply and do not require heat or flame as compared to glass cupping to create a vacuum.
The cups can be applied to different areas of the body with a small application of oil to get a proper seal and the suction can easily be adjusted to the client’s comfort level. After sitting on the skin for a while, the cups can then be moved very slowly over the area of pain to create a “stretch” in the fascia and to focus circulation to that particular area, drawing out toxins and releasing stagnated blood. It can create circular marks called petechie that may last up to a week. This is normal and should not be cause for concern.

The cost for this deep tissue massage is higher than a regular relaxation massage as it’s much harder on my hands.

Chronic pain

I’ve been seeing massage therapists and chiropractors since a young age (about 12 years old) and have tried many different services and it would provide temporary relief but within a day or so after the adjustment and/or massage I would be in pain again! I just started to assume this was normal. Until I met Suzanne!! I found her through Facebook doing another search for a new massage therapist just trying to find a solution for my never ending back and neck pain, I booked an appointment assuming it would be like all the rest but it was an entire different experience!
Suzanne is extremely educated in many areas, very smart and is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. The massage was hands down the best and the interaction I had with her was so special, she made me feel so welcome and safe on her table. Fast forward to now, I’ve been seeing Suzanne for massage for about a year or longer now and I can’t express enough how phenomenal she is at her work. She’s been able to remove knots and pain that I thought I would have to live with. Her knowledge on the human body always blows me away. I’ve received cupping, raindrop therapy, deep tissue and relaxing massage from her over the last year or so and I truly can’t express enough how grateful I am to have found her! It truly feels like an honour to be on her table and in such capable, loving hands. Her work space feels like such a safe space and she makes you feel more than comfortable! Words are not enough to explain how amazing Suzanne is at being a healer. Her medical knowledge alone is beyond any expectations. I cannot recommend her enough for a massage, and her ability to treat injuries such as my Achilles tendon is just pure magical. She listens to you as well as educates you on your entire body. If there's been a pain nagging you for a while she can find it and treat it. Again, words aren't enough, but I'm trying to explain just how great a session with her is. Book an appointment with her right away, you won't regret it

I can’t express enough how amazing not only my interaction but my massage with Suzanne was today. Very professional and friendly from the moment I walked in I was comfortable and at ease. I’ve been suffering from chronic migraines for 3 years now and been seeing many different therapist from massage to physiotherapy to chiropractor you name it I’ve tried it. Nothing works. Today was day 3 of a terrible migraine and Suzanne did miracles for me. Within minutes she had me relaxed and then few minutes more then pain absolutely gone. I left smiling ear to ear with tears in my eyes. I’m so thankful to have found somebody to help me!
